We are glad you are considering LAMB as an option for your child’s education! At LAMB, we focus on helping our students become independent and bilingual lifelong learners. We invite you to explore our website, attend one of our open houses, and visit our online booth at EdFest to learn more about our bilingual Montessori program and the richness of our community.
Who Can Apply to LAMB

The school does not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, or source of income, in any way. LAMB accepts students for PreK3, PreK4, and Kindergarten.
Prospective students must meet the following age requirements:

Additionally, if selected, families will have to show proof of D.C. residency to enroll at LAMB by the enrollment deadline.

Siblings of students enrolled at LAMB
Equitable Access Preference
Equitable Access is a lottery preference for applicants who are:
Experiencing homelessness;
In the District’s foster care system;
Receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); or
In high school and are one year older, or more, than the age for the grade in which they are currently enrolled.
How does an applicant qualify for Equitable Access?
Applicants do not need to provide documentation to prove eligibility for this preference. Instead, if families apply to a school offering the Equitable Access preference, they simply need to select “I give my consent” on the last page of the My School DC application.
